The Gen 2 EVOlaser design addresses the #1 cause of Class 4 laser failures: the external fiber cable connection.
On older designs (and many competitor systems), the fiber cable connects to the controller through an external port. This connection is fragile—pulling on the fiber during therapy, wrapping the cable too tightly, or simple wear and tear can cause failures.
The Gen 2 design moves this connection inside the housing, similar to high-end systems like the K-Laser. The fiber cable wraps around the base, reducing kinking and crushing during transport.
