Year-end savings · ends December 31

Buy before Dec 31. Write it off this year.

Practices can generally deduct the full price of qualifying equipment placed in service by December 31 under Section 179. On top of that, take $500 off any new professional laser.

Order by December 19 to allow delivery and setup before year-end.

How Section 179 works

Deduct it this year, not over five

  1. 1

Buy or finance by Dec 31

Equipment purchased or financed counts, so you can deduct the full amount while paying it off monthly.

  2. 2

    Put it in service

The laser has to be in use at your practice by December 31. Most units ship in 1 to 2 business days.

  3. 3

    Deduct the full price

Instead of depreciating it over several years. The 2026 limit is ≈ $2.56 million, far above any laser purchase.

Example: Avant LZ30 Z Pro

List price$7,875
Code YEAREND500−$500
Possible tax savings at a 30% rate−$2,213
