Apollo Lasers is no longer manufacturing laser systems. ColdLasers.org does not sell new Apollo Portable units. This page is provided for historical reference—for existing owners or those researching the used market.
About the Apollo Portable
The Apollo Portable was a battery-powered class 4 cold laser system designed for practitioners who needed mobility. Built with the same aerospace-quality aluminum construction as the Desktop model, it offered interchangeable probes ranging from 500mW to 3,000mW.
The system could operate on NiMH rechargeable batteries or plugged in via power adapter, making it ideal for multi-office use, house calls, or practitioners working in different treatment rooms.
Available Configurations
The Apollo Portable was sold in three configurations based on emitter power. All included the same portable controller unit with battery capability.
| Model | Output | Type | Battery Life | Best For | Price (Was) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Portable 3000 | 3,000mW 4 × 750mW |
Quad Cluster | ~30 × 2-min treatments | Large areas, deep tissue | ~$5,777 |
| Portable 2000 | 2,000mW 4 × 500mW |
Quad Cluster | ~60 × 2-min treatments | General therapy, mobile use | ~$5,177 |
| Portable 500 | 500mW Single emitter |
Point Probe | ~120 × 2-min treatments | Acupuncture, trigger points | ~$4,495 |
All models: 810nm wavelength, Continuous Wave only, GaAlAs diode

Considerations for Used Buyers
Apollo Lasers is no longer in business. Parts, repairs, and technical support are unavailable from the original manufacturer.
NiMH batteries lose capacity over time. Used units likely have significantly reduced battery life. Replacement packs may be difficult to source.
Used units may have significant hours on the diodes. Use the built-in probe tester to verify output before purchasing.
No pulsing capability. Modern research suggests pulsed modes offer benefits for many conditions.
810nm only—no multi-wavelength options available.
Portable maxed out at 3,000mW vs Desktop's 5,000mW. No 4,000mW or 5,000mW options were available.
